Inherited Stories creates family legacy documentaries known as a Vimory™ or Vimories™. The Origin Vimory package is designed to document an individual or couple’s parenting journey. Note on Digitized Media:
Digitization (Digitized) refers to the process of converting physical media into digital media.
Media files from cellphones, computers and other modern electronic devices are already in a digital format. Inherited Stories is willing to receive that media from a family to be used in The Memorial Vimory. However, Inherited Stories does not offer to perform any digitization work for The Memorial Vimory. That feature is exclusive to Legacy Vimory products.

Travel Costs: Travel to any locations outside a 50-mile radius of Edina, MN is invoiced at a rate of $0.75 per mile. Additionally, any travel further than 2 hours from Edina, MN will require an overnight stay at a hotel and will also be invoiced to the customer. Food and other necessities will not be charged for as Inherited Stories will cover that cost for its employees/agents.

How Does Travel Work?
Travel within the Upper Midwest: Travel to any location outside a 50-mile radius of Edina, MN is invoiced at a rate of $0.75 per mile. Any travel further than 2 hours from Edina, MN but still within the Upper Midwest (MN, WI, IA, IL ND, SD) will require overnight stays at a hotel and its cost will be covered by the hiring family. Food and other necessities will not be charged for as Inherited Stories will cover those costs for its employees/agents.
Travel beyond the Upper Midwest: Any travel required to locations beyond the Upper Midwest states will require a flight, a rental vehicle and hotel accommodations. In order to reduce costs for a family, Inherited Stories will first attempt to recruit a video storyteller in the area to capture the raw elements of a Vimory while being lead by one of our team members. We will always have one of our staff be present during a Vimory Production. If Inherited Stories is unable to find a video storyteller and must travel with equipment, that will be presented in the Vimory Production Itinerary.
Additionally, if a shoot requires multiple flights and/or multiple days, we will make those charges clear in the Vimory Production Itinerary as well.
Please be assured, all travel distances and associated charges will be itemized and listed individually in the final invoice to a family as well.
